Southern Area of The Links Incorporated Scholarship Application

HBCU Initiative:

The Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) committee is dedicated to supporting our HBCUs and the students who attend. In conjunction with the Southern Area, the chapter and its members through generous donations are providing scholarships to deserving students. We aim to recognize student leaders serving their communities through the COVID-19 pandemic while transitioning to “a different world”. In continuing to promote the talent of its students and the importance of HBCUs, the committee is actively planning activities for Fall 2021. Such activities include a proposed collaboration with the Services to Youth committee and the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) committee to provide opportunities for HBCU students to engage local elementary students.
